Fractional CFO Services
Fractional CFO Services (Houston CPA)
Executive‑level finance without a full‑time hire. We guide forecasting, scenario planning and decision support—partnering with your accounting base (CAS Focus/Ascent) so leadership has numbers it can trust. This is your Summit Peak tier in the Financial Ascent.
How CFO Layers on Your Packages (include prior levels where needed)
Prerequisite: CFO rides on top of CAS.
If you’re on Focus, CFO includes everything in FOUNDATION + FOCUS (monthly close, KPI snapshot, 30‑min review) plus the CFO work below.
If you’re on Ascent, CFO includes everything in FOUNDATION + FOCUS + ASCENT (including the 60–90‑min monthly call and rolling 12‑month forecast) plus the CFO work below.
In short, CFO does not replace your monthly accounting—it builds on it and adds executive leadership.
CFO Deliverables (strategic leadership—not bookkeeping)
Extended forecasting & model stewardship (12–24‑month model; rolling updates; stress tests)
Scenario planning (pricing, hiring/capacity, location/expansion, “what‑if” sensitivity)
Board‑ready reporting (cadence, decks, and narrative around KPIs)
- Cash policy & working‑capital playbook (AR/AP targets, runway monitoring)
Capital readiness (lender/investor conversations, data room support)
Tax strategy alignment with Elevate planning when appropriate (tax work itself remains separate)
Not included: Reconciliations, categorization, AR/AP processing, payroll runs, or tax return preparation—those remain in CAS and Tax.
Engagement Rhythm
Monthly CFO strategy call (60–90 minutes)
Quarterly deep‑dive (budget refresh, board/leadership pack)
As‑needed quick questions via email/Slack (SLA defined in proposal)
Who This Is For
Owners at growth inflection points—scaling, hiring leadership, evaluating financing, or needing confidence in forward‑looking numbers.
Outcomes We Aim For
Sharper forecasts, faster decisions, stronger margins, healthier cash cycles—and better lender/investor conversations backed by reliable data.
